AABP Multi-Media Awards for Excellence 


The AABP is pleased to recognize authors, web site owners and DVD producers/presenters as the year's best materials that promote animal-friendly methods of living with and training companion animals.

The AABP membership votes each year on that year's best books, articles, web sites and DVDs in companion animal behavior in different categories in order to recognize the work of fellow professionals. The work must be:

  • Published in the year it is to be recognized for 
  • Behavioral in nature (as opposed to medical model or ethology oriented)
  • Consistent with the AABP methodological stance on animal friendly methods
